Videos
Our team tries to video capture most of our launches and flights but as many of you in the hobbie know, this is not always possible. Check this section out for videos of some of our launches

We design most of our rockets components with the exception of the engines. For those we use industry standard engines as they require standard mounts which we use.

Looking for folks to enjoy the hobby with?
Feel free to reach out. We are a very welcoming group, and although we haven’t been going out to launch lately we have been working on some new toys to have fun with. Currently, we are working on a Return To Home rocket system, and some add-ons for our 11 inch long range quadcopter. Make sure to reach out via the contact us section.

What are our goals?
Fun times while learning!
We do these hobby’s as we consider them fun, educational, and just an all around good time for family and friends. As a child I enjoyed these hobby’s, unfortunately electronics back in the mid-eighties where laughable at best in regards to R/C. Now, it is almost a bucket of endless possibilities. We are seeing the importance of robotics, drones, and automated items skyrocket with modern implementations. A hobby that used to be fun, is now waaaaayyyy more fun with better grade toys!!!

Locations we use
Since the making of this website we have changed locations several times, which has led us to check out new areas. Currently we are based our of Sarasota, Florida. This means we frequent areas from Venice, Florida to Palmetto, with some irregular visits up to Ocala, Florida for footage.

Rocket assembly
In many instances the building of the rocket is the best part. We try to use these opportunities to answer questions, teach and present concepts to simply stimulate thinking and idea building. In a child’s mind nothing is impossible, we just need to find a way to make it happen.

Trying to get it on video/pictures
After many years of sending rockets, and all sorts of items up in the air I will share with you the biggest headache in the hobby…. documenting flights via pictures and videos. Outside of the insane amount of cameras needed, it always comes down to the after flight question….. “did we get it on video?”
If you are considering the hobby…
and you expect us to talk you out of it….. not going to happen.
R/C, Model Rocketry, Robotics, and programming are probably some of the funnest hobbies to combine. Some of the “toys” we create provide unique and amazing fun that does nothing but motivate more developments.

Recently, we got into 3d printing…
Seems that as time progresses we find ourselves looking for ways to improve creation of our ideas, as well as implementation to achieve a specific result.
We have gone from launching rockets, to building out an insane SkyHunter, to modifying R/C cars to easily send them 100+mph. By adding 3D printing to our arsenal, we add the ability to create custom parts, and better develop systems that will essentially provide more fun.
Make sure to follow us on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, for fun updates like the one below.
One of our latest experiements involved, toilet paper roll, a C6-5 Estes engine, and an egg. Make sure to read about it here. Glad we had TP for this project failure.
Make sure to check back often for project updates
R/C Planes, Cars, Gliders, stunt planes, Rockets, Trucks, Off-Road we welcome all disciplines!!!
We are not a business, we are a family and friends oriented group that likes to build neat things for fun. We design our projects for maximum fun. Feel free to reach out to us via the contact us section.
Skyhunter 1850mm, Modified
Skyhunter kit modified with 13k lumens worth of lights, flight lights, FPV, DVR, GPS/GLONAS, Auto-pilot, Waypoint Travel, Thermal Cameras, Long-Range Flight,
This project definitely got out of hand quick. From a simple large flying rc plane, to an RC platform for long range flights with mapping capabilities, search capabilities. Recomended by a good friend who’s exact statement was, “you need to get one of these”.
Once we assembled it, we decided it was too pretty to fly right away, and we needed to REALLY build this one out to be the ultimate FPV platform. Although still undergoing the process of adding more and more gadgets, this platforms ultimate use will be a waypoint beast used in aerial photography, mapping, and thermal signature detection from altitude.
Since we had Skyhunter fever, we decided to buy a smaller version of the same aircraft for fun. Still an FPV platform but due to having smaller wingspan versatility drops.
Modified Arrma Typhon 6S and 3S RC Cars
The Arrma Typhon 6S is probably one of the funnest R/C vehicles ever made. With a 65mph base out of the box and high impact absorbing design that likes to take a bashing in the field. The reason we chose this model is because it allows for easy swapping, modifying, and tweaks that it allows the driver to incorporate. Our current set up is a street set up with an upgraded motor running 22pinion gear, which according to the math will top out at 140+mph…. We have NOT had it up that fast….. yet.
High Altitude Return to Launch System
(System not pictured here)
The HARLS technology will be focused on ensuring accurrate trajecotries with return to home being the standard. This will help eliminate human error from the process. With the final goal of seeing how cheap and how high we can send it!
The system will be used with a homeade fiberglass rocket made of different “packages” as to make mission specific sections that can be added to standard components for quick turn around time during launches.
Feel free to create an account on this website, and come out to meet us one day. You don’t need any R/C toys if you just want to come watch, and meet the group, have fun, get involved!

Our Core Team
We are a small group of folks based out of Sarasota, Florida. We began this website as a place to showcase some of the rockets we built and have slowly morphed it into a full scale R/C hobby team. Check out below to get an introduction to our members, and their role within our team.

Steve’s Shack

“When toys grow”
“What was impossible during my childhood is now easily possible during my childs childhood.” – S.H.
SOooooo many things that where simply dreams during my childhood are easily possible nowadays due to the exponential leaps in technology. This allows for better teaching system with fun projects that once seemed like advanced electronics or advanced computing.
We are here for the fun of building things, automating them, and teaching the next generation about how easy it is for impossible sounding things to become reality.
